One of the many sticks naysayers are using to whip out Falcons in the 2015 Regular Season is their inconsistency. An 11-8 record can justify that.
The former league champions’ variations in performances have left them in mid-table, which is putting them into a tough playoff bracket.
However, that does not deprive Falcons off their giant status as the City Oilers!
And when the two sides face off tonight at YMCA, there will be sentiments from either camp notably as the fight for play-off slots intensifies.
While Falcons are in fight to ascend in the table standings, Mandy Juruni's side hope to win and bring pace setters KIU Titans and UCU Canons at arm's length.
Falcons come off a an 86-76 loss to Ndejje Angels in their last fixture, but head in to the match-up with their tails in air having out classed City Oilers 81-66 in the corresponding first round fixture.
City Oilers, who currently sit third on the 12-team log, play their final domestic game ahead the week long FIBA Africa Zone V in Kigali that gets underway this Sunday.
