GAMBIA : Late Pa Modou Sarr Basketball Tourney Gets Underway
The late Pa Modou Sarr Memorial Basketball Tournament got underway last Friday at the Serrekunda West mini-stadium. In the opening game Lamin put in an impressive performance to edge out Serrekunda East 37- 28.
The game was supposed to be played on Saturday but was shifted to Friday as a result of Porcupine SC not turning up to face Serrekunda West who were eventually awarded a walkover. Meanwhile play resumes on Friday as Sport House take on powerhouse YMCA while on Saturday another powerhouse Wallidan will play Bakau United.
