KENYA : KPA to Wait As Africa Show Is Pushed Back

KENYA Ports Authority (KPA) date for Africa Club Championships has once again been pushed to next month. Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) fixtures secretary Joseph Amoko said FIBA Africa have released new dates for the10-day continental event that is slated to start on December 4 in Cameroon.

The event has attracted 12 teams. "The fact that FIBA Africa has moved the dates ahead gives us some time to continue with the play-off matches that involve KPA. The porters face Sprite Storms this weekend in Mombasa," he said. He released the play- off semi finals fixtures that will also see reigning men champions Co-operative Bank play KPA at the Mombasa Sports Club.
Other semi finals matches will see Eagle Wings take on United States International University (USIU) in the Premier League category. In the lower division semis, University of Nairobi "Terrorists" play Nairobi Aviation College (NAC) and World Hope take on Lakeside. In classification matches, Parklands Baptist face Nakuru Club, Co-op Bank (women) meet Western Delight and USIU have a date with Masinde Muliro University of Agriculture and Technology (MMUST).
