KENYA : KQ, Upper Hill Lead Teams to Play-Offs

Kenya Airways, Upper Hill School, Barclays Bank and Strathmore University will represent Nairobi in the Inter-Provincial Play-offs next month in Mombasa. The four teams booked their tickets for the play-offs after making it to the Nairobi Basketball Association (NBA) semi-finals. The top two sides from the tournament will be promoted to the national Division One next year.

Meanwhile, the NBA finals that will determined this year's champions starts today at the Railways Club from 12:30pm with Kenya Airways taking on last year's runners Upper Hill School in a five-game series. Kenya Airways shut out Strathmore University 3-0 while Upper Hill locked out BBK 3-1 to set up final series date.
In the ladies finals that also tips off today, Safe Spaces will square it out with and Africa Nazarene University (ANU) in matches that will also be played on a five game series format. Safe Spaces shut out Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Jkuat) while Nazerene beat BBK with a similar 3-0 series win.
