TANZANIA : Vijana maintain unbeaten record

Vijana maintained their unbeaten record when they defeated PTW 51-49 in a Kili RBA League played at Dar es Salaam`s Indoor Stadium over the weekend.

They led 29-20 until the breather with Saudi Abdularzack and Slvian Maige scoring for them 24 and six points, respectively.
Hosea Baraigwa scored 24 points to emerge the top scorer for the losers.
Vijana also beat Chui 61- 55 in their yesterday`s game played on the same ground. Vijana were down 33-30 in the half time.
UDSM Outsiders overcome hard-fighters Mgulani with 42-27 win in another match.
Outsiders were ahead 18 -14 until the break. John Tungaraza scored 12 points to emerge top scorer for the Outsiders while Lucas Nyambasamba scored the same points for Mgulani.
Crowns were beaten by Pazi 55-63 in another game.
Ally Zuberi and Alfaya Kiswi scored 26 and 10 points respectively for Crowns as Ladis Kugula and Adrew Kungula scored 19 points each for Pazi.

In women`s match, Cargo Ladies beat Prisons 72-63. Zakia Kondo scored 23 and Asha Iddi 21 for Cargo.
Zuhura Twalib and Nuru Ahmed scored 17 and nine points for Prisons, respectively.
