23rd Champions Cup for men – ¼ finals: Union Bank bow to Etoile du Sahel 67 - 94
Union Bank (Nigeria) failed to Etoile du Sahel 67 - 94 in ¼ finals game of the 23rd Africa Champions Cup for men in Sousse, Tunisia.
Etoile du Sahel coached by Abidi Ridha won easily the two first quarters (23 – 09 and 26 – 16). The Nigeria’s side woke up and won the third quarter 21 – 19, but trailed 21 – 26 in the last quarter
Ohiero Micheal of Union Bank scored the high game 24 points and recorded 6 rebounds.
Hardy Jamarr Antwon led Etoile du Sahel with 23 points and 2 rebonds while Maoua Atef hit 21 points.
For its first participation at the final round of Africa Champions Cup for men, Etoile du sahel go into semi final while Union Bank will play classification games for the 5th – 8thplaces.
