THE Nkumba Marines will go into today’s MTN-FUBA men’s first division league match against Gulu Hawks looking to, not only capture their second successive victory of the second round but exact some measure of revenge.
When the two sides met in Gulu two months ago, Hawks made the most of their home advantage to stun the Marines 97-73.

The two-time champions have had a bad time this season and their loss against another newly promoted side in KCC Lions two weeks ago was just another reminder.
But the Marines will be looking to save pride from a campaign guaranteed to see them end in the regular season.
After 12 games, Marines have collected 17 points, five ahead of Hawks who, nonetheless, have three games in hand.
A win for Marines will see them overtake, at least temporarily, the Mogas Falcons into fifth place while the opposite result will catapult Hawks off the foot of the table into sixth place.
The Hawks will be back in action on Sunday against the KCC Lions while Miracle will complete the men’s first division action against Crane high.

Meanwhile on Sunday, the UCU Ladies should comfortably see off the Victoria Lakers to extend what has been a very impressive season, one that has already brought 10 wins and just four losses.
