They are as good as relegated but Crane High School can stir the MTN-Fuba League table by defeating equally relegation-threatened Miracle Eagles at Namboole Stadium this evening.

The high school side has not recorded victory in three second round outings but a fixture against out-of-sorts Miracle gives them a chance to play with confidence and maybe snatch maxim points.
Crane High had hoped to build on two wins they recorded in first round and survive the drop ahead of Kampala City Council Lions and probably Miracle.

But the resignation of coach Justus Mugisha put paid to all their hopes, yet their other relegation candidates KCC Lions have amassed three consecutive wins despite finishing first round at the bottom of the ten-team table with only nine points.
Nelson Onyuta has taken over the reigns at Crane High and his experience will be vital if the Kitintale-based side is to leave Namboole with maximum points.
Despite welcoming back Robert Mubiru and Moses Wasswa, Miracle have struggled, losing their last three consecutive games. Kyambogo Warriors lead the league.
With no favourite on paper, the game is expected to be very fiercely contested. Gulu Hawks, who ended first round on a high, face KCC Lions in the other men’s topflight encouter, trying to break through the top five.

Kampala International University (KIU) Rangers will be hoping to save their crumbling season with a dour encounter against Crane High in the women’s category. over Makerere Sparks and could give KCC Leopards a tough ride. Besides, they were the only team to defeat the Mayor’s ladies last season.
