HOSTS St. Joseph's Vocational School (Jovoc) will be relegated to a cheering role when semi-finals of the 13th Sprite Schools tournament get underway today.
Bugema Adventist, Eagles Nest SS, Makerere College School and Lubiri High cruised to the boy's semi-finals but Jovoc fell out after failing to register a single win since Monday.

Lubiri topped after winning all their five games and will face fourth-placed Macos while runners-up Bugema take on unpredictable Eagles Nest.
Old Kampala, coached by national team star Joseph Ikong have been disappointing in the Century Bottling Company sponsored event.

They may however produce the tournament's record scorer in Dennis Kabuye who registered a record 44 points in their 75-35 victory over Jovoc on Wednesday.

Lillian Wafula, who at 15, has played in the national league with Makerere Cubs, led Macos to a slim 24-23 win over Eagles Nest on Wednesday. Eagles though still made the girls semis and are likely to meet Bugema while Macos could play home side Mary Hill.

Meanwhile, talk around here is that possible finalists Bugema may surrender the trophy if the finals are to be played on Saturday because of their faith. They have never played a game on their Sabbath Day.
