IF the words of Peter Mubanda are anything to go by, then Youth Heaters will surely be title challengers when the national basketball league season gets underway this Friday.
The topflight league newcomers have gone on a shopping spree that could see them assemble a new look side at the beginning of the season.
Michael Karuiki is soon completing his move from Sadolin Power to the Makerere-based side and could be followed by two of his teammates. Star guards Richard Balemwa and Allan Tawoda who joined Power last season from No-Nem and Bush courts respectively are joining Heaters.
“We have talked to them and they are very willing to join me at Heaters,” Mubanda said.
