KAMPALA International University (KIU) had a miserable trip to the North when they got beaten 75-60 to Gulu Hawks in the MTN league Yello Max game played at the Carrebian courts yesterday.

The hosts recovered from a 69-74 loss to visiting Miracle on Saturday and were all out with reliable Denis Akena notching 22, while Peter Owiny added 19 to seal off KIU's dull season. Isaac Afidra never traveled with the team, but Emma Baguma who was fouled out in the first minute of the last quarter made 16 points.

At YMCA-Kampala, Ken Balyejusa regained his form with 21 points to help Sadolin Power maintain their winning streak after a game high 92-82 score over promoted Livingstone. Wilbrod Okecho made 18 while Mike Kariuki and Richard Balemwa contributed 15 and 14 points respectively. Peter Elungati and Martin Okello notched 26 and 25 in a losing effort.
